London trip!

Class 4 is taking a trip to London they will be leaving on the 26th March and will be heading of on a bus. Class 4 will be visiting the Olympic stadium and then we will be heading to our hotel named ICANDO which is opposite Buckingham palace!

Also we will be watching a 5 star rating show the lion king rated by our last year 6s.we will also be visiting lots of museums and a Sikh chapel. In the past few weeks class4  has been writing to Hamden gurney school and are waiting for a reply, whilst we are at London we will be meeting our new friends. We shall also be taking a ride on the London eye .

Youth speaks

Both of our skilful and brave teams took part in the youth speak competition at the Padstow social club. This was run by the Rotary Club. Two of the 6 teams were going to go through to the next round in St.Columb Minor. Up first was St. Merryn 1. They wowed the crowds with their terrific skills, and then St. Merryn 2 was 3rd and made a blast of amazement flow through the world. We dominated the competition even though it was tough. Then we had a tasty snack.  It was the time to reveal the results to the participants. They said we were all amazing but only two teams could go through to the next round. But the results turned out to be incredible. Runners up were St. Merryn 1 and winners were St. Merryn 2! They got the greatest trophy anybody in the world could ask for.
