Class 2's 'blog!

Your reporters for this term are:

Bertie, Libby, Jake and Maybyn

We had lots of fun making Barfi - a Hindu sweetmeat.  It had coconut in and was very, very sweet!

We have also been comparing things - what is heavier and what is lighter?  What feels about the same?

We did lots of work in the class with scales (a shoe weighed four parsnips) and we went into the woodland and made some nature balances with Idris the Dragon and Mr. Jones, the Counting Crow.

We had a special Puja ceremony on Friday afternoon about the elephant headed god Ganesh who removes problems and looks after children - it was great!

This week we have been roving reporters and watched some of the stuff that the children did at playtimes.

We took some photos and thought about our week.

We found out about some Hindu Gods - like Ganesh and how he lost his head and got an elephant one.

We did some circle time things on being kind.
