Class 1's 'blog!
We made dens for homework. I used a quilt and some blankets. It was like a tent and my brother and sister came in it. I liked that homework.

Class One have made ice mobiles. They were really brilliant and very cold. First we collected some little twigs and some leaves and flowers. We put them in pots with string and filled up the pots with water. We put the pots in our sand and water garden all night, not in the freezer! This morning they had turned into ice. We put them on our class tree. They look brilliant.

Well, on our school trip we went on the mini bus to Evie’s farm. There, we looked at Evie’s sheep and we saw some baby lambs. They felt really cosy and soft. Then we went to Graham’s cafe and had yummy hot chocolate with squirty cream. Next we went to Rocky beach and had a lovely time. We got shells and rocks and we found ice in the rock pools. It was excellent and we wanted to stay forever. Mrs Robinson and Mrs Bateman say we can go again and take my daddy to make a fire.

We loved having a birthday party for our class teddy, he was 5 years old on January 6th. We got ready for the party all week long but we didn’t tell Teddy! Invitations were made for our own teddies to come to school, we made birthday cards, teddy bear ears and really special teddy birthday cakes with Mrs Sole. When Mrs Robinson went to get Teddy we all decided to hide under tables so that we could surprise him. He really liked our teddy ears and painted noses! We all sang happy birthday and Teddy had candles in his cake. After juice, cakes and teddy crisps we played games. Teddy brought his favourite story for us to enjoy just before home time, then he gave us all a Bookstart party bag with two books inside to take home. Everybody had a fantastic time.
